One Down, A Few To Go

April 5, 2011

It’s April already and I’ve made a bit of a slow start with my resolutions (I’ve been swimming a handful of times – that’s about it). However, I’ve just signed up to help fund a Kickstarter project, so that’s one off the list.

About the project – It’s a ten minute short film shot on HD on location in London. Entitled ‘Lunch Date’ it follows this plot:

2011 was supposed to be Annabel’s year. So why is she here, sitting in a restaurant, being told by a thirteen-year-old that her boyfriend, Thomas, doesn’t want to see her anymore.

The small messenger is Wilbur. He has agreed to break the news as payment for borrowing Thomas’s tent. But dispensing with Annabel proves a bigger challenge than Wilbur had anticipated.

If you want to help fund it (or just find out more) – you can do so here.

Marcel The Shell With Shoes On

August 26, 2010

Sorry it’s been a while since I’ve posted. Again, there’s been so much cool stuff going round and I’ve not got round to posting any of it. Anyway, I saw this yesterday and thought it was great. It’s directed by Directed by Dean Fleischer-Camp, and had mixed reactions in the studio but I’m totally in to it. See what you think:

Flamethrowers , Rednecks & Extinguishers

August 2, 2010

Flamethrowers, rednecks and extinguishers. All vital ingredients for a great music video I’m sure you’ll agree. This is actually a promo entitled ‘The Duel’ made for the band Dancing Pigeons directed by Tomas Mankovsky. It seems Diesel has some part too in the project as the film is supposedly based on their new collection – Fire & Water. Enjoy:

Based On A True Story

February 3, 2010

I saw Avatar at the weekend and was pretty impressed by it (though not with the cinema – Swiss Cottage Odeon is shit). Now I know it’s not the story line that makes it what it is but even so, this is pretty funny:
